How to Download the Free HTML and CSS Guide PDF Ebook for Anyone Who Owns a Website and Plans to Do One in the Future

Many readers of this site, especially those who have followed it for a long time, are fellow bloggers who have often found suggestions for better management of their blogs on different platforms, especially that
Blogger.

In principle, you can create websites even without knowing the programming languages that are the basis for designing web pages. In fact practically all
CMSthat is, all platforms that offer online textual content publishing services make editors available to users
WYSIWYG.

This is the acronym for the English expression
What you see is what you get which could be translated as
What you see is what you get. In practice, the user who wants to publish a web page will have an editor that resembles
Word from Desk or
Document Writer from Free Office albeit with less functionality.

With these editors, you can format text by choosing font size and family, as well as color and alignment. You can add links to web pages, lists and even tables. The difference with the mentioned editors is the ability to view the web page we are editing in two ways.

The first is that of writing display while the second is code view. Browsers don't actually render the page in writing view, but detect the underlying code.

This is the HTML code consisting of a few tags that define its appearance. However, some display options are not present in the editors WYSIWYG such as showing some
aligned images
or to show the text on images
or even to customize the appearance of
Titles
.

For these operations it is therefore necessary to go to mode HTML
and act on the code. It is a markup language, which means
hypertext markup language, and that along with the other code
css acronym for Cascading style sheets. the use of css, also called
style sheets, it was necessary to separate the content of the pages HTML from its layout and allow programming that is easier to configure, both for page creators and browsers, also ensuring code reuse and easier maintenance.

In practice, instead of defining the style of a
paragraph

or one title you choose your appearance once and for all by giving it a name class or selector which can then be summarized simply by quoting them.

For a more professional management of a website, it is therefore important that your administrator has at least a handful of
HTML and CSS languages power if needed
change the code switch to that view. A few years ago I released a small manual on the main notions of these languages.

These days I took it again and added some things like the latest versions of these respectively named languages
HTML5
AND
css3

In practice, anyone can freely download the ebook, modify it and even share it with the restriction of attribution and sharing in the same way, that is, for free and citing its author or this post.
